Goatboy World

Welcome to the glorious online vault that is Goatboy World. I am Eddie Goatman - here is what I do...

Bandmade Videos

Over the past few years I have made low budget music videos which are high in fun & fibre. I take pride in sourcing original imagery and slicing it up with slick editing skills or perhaps coming up with an original concept, filming it and then making it a visual feast for the eyes which complements the track from start to finish.

If you would like me to make you a 'Bandmade Video' then contact me for a quote.

Here are some examples of my work...

Crafts

Whittled Woodworks, Embroidered Needlework, Linocut Printmaking & Mosaic Masterpieces!

Watercolour Film Scenes

I'm constantly documenting my favourite things, and movies are no different. Here's a selection from an ongoing project of mine.

'Covid' Cover Versions

During the UK lockdown of 2020 I documented 95 of my favourite albums in 1 big sketchbook... Here's some of my personal favourites:

Gig Posters

I have been a fan of the 'gig poster' for many years now and admire work by Tara McPherson and the Psychedelic artists of the 60s! I use my own childlike drawings and illustrations to create posters and adverts which are instantly recognisable and unique to my style. I work closely with numerous venues and clubnights who use me as a way to create identities for their particular brands.

Here are some early examples of my work...

If you like what you see and you'd like me to create something for you then gimme a tinkle and we can chat further.

Acting and Extras Work

Since 2012 I have been building up a portfolio of Film & TV appearances. My first job was a feature role in the TV Commercial for Stowford Press titled 'The IT Men' which ran for a year and was first aired on 01/07/13

A list of notable productions I have worked on are as follows:

You can me see in a major music video production for The Subways - 'We Don't Need Money To Have A Good Time'

As well as corporate appearances like this one for Hodder, publishing by Progress Films

Not only that but I have been working closely with The Brighton Museum on various projects which have seen me portraying a Priest at a late night live event and even the British painter William Turner where I had to teach 8-10 year olds how to sketch, draw and think like Turner would've done.

I am also available and camera confident for Photoshoots and Fashion shoots if a short hairy bearded man is what you're after.

DJ Hire

I have been a club/party DJ for nearly 20 years and have built up a good reputation in my hometown of Brighton. I play a huge variety of genres ranging from Rock to Dance and seamlessly blending it all together in a 'mash-up' style to create a feel good party for everyone. It has seen me hold residencies in big clubs as well as smaller bars and pubs, in between bands at high profile gigs and festivals, warming up for the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Kasabian, MGMT, The Prodigy, AIR, 2ManyDJs, Dizzee Rascal, Lady GaGa and many many more.

Between 2010 and 2016 I was booked by Metropolis Music to perform at the V Festival in-between bands on the Main Stages in Chelmsford as well as kicking off The Arena Stage on the Friday night... A 4 hour DJ set which got the party started, here is an official video which the festival tweeted out on one of the nights.

For the last 7 years I have been running a successful Wedding DJ service under the name "Indie Wedding DJs". If you would like to read about that then perhaps follow this link:

If reading about my DJing isn't enough for you and you'd like to hear what I do then have a little listen to my Mixcloud...

If you would like to book me for your party then don't hesitate in contacting me and telling me a little bit about the event you're putting on. I'm extremely versatile and can cater for your every need.

Radio Show

Since I was a child it has been my dream to be a radio host. I feel I have a lot to say about music and sometimes just playing music to a room full of people isn't enough and so I find expressing my love for certain tunes can only really be conveyed en masse via radio.

Since 2019 you can find me as part of the 1btn schedule, please check their website for details of my show...

The links here are from my time at Radio Reverb in Brighton. I'm looking to further this career path so if you think you have an opening for my interest then please get in touch.
